Comments
When customers leave a comment on our website, we gather data from the comment form as well as the customer’s IP address and browser’s user agent string in order to detect spam more easily.
It is possible that the anonymised string created from your email (also known as hash) will be delivered to the Gravatar service to determine if it is being used. Gravatar’s privacy policy can be found here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been authorized, your profile picture will be publicly displayed in the context of your comment.
Media
When transferring photos to the website, you should avoid the ones with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). People visiting the website can download them and extract any data about the location from the photos on the website.

How long do we store your data for?
If you write a comment, both the comment and its meta data are stored forever. This is done so that we can automatically recognize and approve your future comments, instead of keeping them on hold for approval every time.
Users who sign in on our website have their personal data listed in user profiles (if applicable) stored. All users can see, edit or delete their personal data at any time (apart from the username, that cannot be altered). The website admins can also see and edit the data.

You can also request all gathered personal data be deleted. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal and safety purposes.
